Partnerships

Local Regional News considers collaborations that fit its coverage of local decisions, public services, shared places and community participation. Proposals are reviewed for relevance, clarity and reader interest.

Possible collaborations

We consider educational collaborations, topic-focused contributions and partner placements that help readers explore a civic subject without confusing promotion with independent coverage. A proposal should explain its purpose, intended audience, proposed material and any relevant commercial or organisational relationship. No collaboration is assumed to be accepted.

Partner placements

Relevant partner links or placements may appear in designated areas of the site when they suit the publication's subject. These are labelled clearly as partner material, and their presence does not imply endorsement of every claim or service associated with them. We do not accept arrangements that require editorial conclusions to be changed or concealed.

How to make a proposal

Use the Contact page to describe the proposed collaboration, the material or placement requested and the relationship behind it. We review proposals for fit and transparency before making any decision. Partner material remains distinguishable from independent editorial work.

Our point of view

Local life makes more sense in context

We explain the structures behind familiar places and decisions, so readers can follow local life without needing specialist language.
